Today I have a super easy project for you! I used my Cricut machine and the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to mass cut several pillow box shapes for my upcoming craft fair. If you don’t have that cartridge, you could probably find a template for a simple pillow box online.
Using Kraft cardstock, I cut the boxes at a 4″ height, which made them quite small when folded over. Before cutting, I found an image of a leaf that I liked from the Mickey and Friends Cricut cartridge. I simply placed the leaf image in the center of the pillow box front and welded them together. That way, when the pillow box was cut, the leaf image was cut out with it.
I glued a small, clear bag to the inside front of the box (covering the leaf opening) before assembly. Then I assembled the box, and used the cut out leaf as my tag. The leaf was sponged around the edges with Desert Sand Ink and the sentiment was stamped in Cocoa Ink.
Before closing the final flap of the box, I filled the small baggie with M&Ms and stapled it shut.
The tag was attached with some gorgeous fall-colored string that I had from my retired CTMH stash. A craft fair is a great way to use up older products!
