Hello, and welcome to my blog! My name is Suzanne (a.k.a. Scrapbooking Sue). I am a wife to my high school sweetheart of 22 years, a mother to two wonderful kids, a Registered Nurse, Educator, and an avid scrapbooker and paper crafter.

I have been obsessed with paper crafting ever since my first child was born and I was given a scrapbooking kit as a gift. Where had this wonderful hobby been all my life! A few years later, while I was living in Canada, Close To My Heart was planning a Canadian expansion, and I was so fortunate to be one of their very first consultants, direct to corporate!

Jeanette Lynton, the founder and CEO of Close To My Heart, invited all of the direct to corporate Canadian consultants to a training camp, where we learned about the company, the products, the business, and where Jeanette personally gave us a class and demonstration on how to stamp!

I absolutely loved being part of this established company, in a new market, and began growing a team very quickly. Then in May 2004, our family immigrated to the US, and since CTMH operates separately in both markets, I lost my entire business and team. As sad as that was to lose, I have enjoyed being with CTMH in California, on and off (especially taking time off for nursing school), for the past twelve years. And I have gone on to new adventures!

I created this blog as a place to share projects, ideas, and anything else interesting in the world of paper crafting. Please take some time and look around. I invite you to comment on posts, and email me your projects to feature on my website. You will get the credit that you deserve and will have the chance to show off your work and inspire others.

If you have any questions, or any suggestions for my blog, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

I look forward to hearing from you!
