I ran across a bunch of cards the other day that I made a long time ago when I was first learning to stamp. I thought that it would be fun to share them this week in a “flashback” week of vintage cards.
The “Warm Winter Wishes” card was made with Lavender and Crystal Blue cardstock, and a retired wood block stamp set.
The paper was ripped along the edges to reveal the white core of the cardstock. I used to rip almost all of my paper to reveal its white core. I still think that it’s pretty easy to get a layered look by doing this one, simple step.
To finish off this simple card, I added some blue bling to bring out the blue in the paper.
I’ll see you in the craft room,
