Pathfinding Papers: Thankful Card
The Thankful card will add a colorful and festive spin to your Thanksgiving cards this year! I used the exclusive stamp set from the Pathfinding Workshops on the Go Scrapbooking Kit (WOTG) to stamp the leaves and large sentiment.
This 4.25″ x 5.5″ card started with a ready-made card base in Colonial White. I used the Pathfinding papers (from the WOTG Kit) for the patterned background, and part of the zip strip for the “Crispy, crunchy leaves…” strip.
The “Thankful” sentiment was stamped along the bottom of the card with Goldrush ink. This was one large stamp, so there was no need to line up any individual letters! The 3 leaves were stamped in Champagne, Goldrush, and Glacier, respectively. Since these colors were represented in the patterned paper, it made each color pop from the background.
The 3 squares at the top were cut in Colonial White cardstock (at 1″ each) and Chocolate cardstock (at 1.5″ each). The stamped leaves were then fussy cut and mounted onto the squares with foam tape for a pop off the card.
To finish off the card, 3 gold bling gems were added for some sparkle. Can you find them on the card? The bling gems came with the Pathfinding WOTG kit, but are also sold separately. I’m so “Thankful” that you stopped by today. Have a great weekend!
I’ll see you in the craft room,
