What a Hoot Card

What a Hoot 2a.JPG

This 5.5″ x 4.25″ card is made with the August Stamp of the Month, “What a Hoot,” and papers from the Seaside Paper Packet. The August Stamp of the Month has a Halloween theme, but can also be used for general cards if you omit the Halloween images.

When you take a closer look, you can see how versatile it can be! This set of 17 stamps is only $5 when you add it to your qualifying order of $50.

The patterned papers on the side strip, owl’s body, and wings are from the Seaside packet. The other colors of cardstock are: Flaxen, Sunset, and Colonial White. All images were stamped in Black ink and then filled in with various colors. The Flaxen cardstock was run through my Cuttlebug machine with a dot embossing folder.

The owl’s eyes are sparkles from the Brown and Tan Assortment. He is holding a flower that is filled in with Sunset cardstock and Vivid Green leaves from the ShinHan Touch Twin Marker line. The flower and top wing were popped off the page with Thin 3-D Foam Tape.

Next time, I will show this set in a Halloween theme!

I’ll see you in the craft room,
