“Happy” Card

Happy 4a

Sticking with the “Happy” theme from yesterday, today I have another happy card that is just bursting with color. Does this card scream party to you? I hope that it does because the vibrant papers used to make this card are from the new Confetti Wishes Paper Packet. The main theme of this paper packet is birthday party.

I layered the Confetti Wishes papers onto a White Daisy cardstock base to make this 5.5″ x 4.25″ card. The “Happy” sentiment was stamped in one of CTMH’s newest colors… Thistle.  A piece of Gold Shimmer Trim was added next to the sentiment, and 4 Gold Sequins were adhered next to each stamped image.

But, what about the cute little sugary stamps that are the stars of this card?

This mini stamp set is called, “With Toppings” and is a Hostess Only stamp set. The other day I featured the Hostess Only stamp set from the last Idea Book/Catalog.  Well, this set is from the newly released Idea Book and is now live! This set doesn’t appear in the Idea Book or online ordering, and you can’t purchase it. However, you can get if for FREE. What!? That’s right, I will give you this set as my thank you when you host a Home Gathering party or online Facebook party with me! Please email me for more details.

Here’s a closer look at the “With Toppings” set. I stamped all 4 images in Black ink and then colored in with markers. I used our new, top quality ShinHan alcohol markers for the colors I own, and the rest were done with the older, newly retired CTMH markers. I used various random colors on the ice cream cone and cupcake frosting to make it look like sprinkles.

I stamped the cherry separately, cut it out, and adhered it to the top of the cupcake. You could always use the making technique to get the same finished effect.

A very cute little stamp set with a ton of possibilities! Looking at all of those bright colors and lovely little sugar rushes makes me very “Happy!”

I’ll see you in the craft room,
